Mechanical Engineering Department

Vision:  The vision of the department is to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, research and transfer of technology and overall development of students.

Mission: Imparting quality education, looking after holistic development of students and conducting need based research and extension.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2018. First batch of the department is in Final year in current academic year 2021-22. The department has good infrastructure & facilities. The department offers UG program (B.Tech.-Mechanical Engineering) with intake of 60 and is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Lonere, Raigad.

During the 4 year UG program, students are deputed for internship/industrial training of minimum 4 weeks duration during Summer/Winter break (As per DBATU curriculum and guidelines). Students are encouraged to opt for NPTEL/SWAYAM/MOOCS courses conducted by IIT’s/NIT’s etc., students can earn credits after successfully completing these courses as per DBATU rules, students are also encouraged to undertake Final year Project work during the internship. Institute level Training & Placement cell provide necessary support to the students in placement activities. In academic year 2021-22 students are placed in companies like ACC, Infosys, TCS, Square yard, NCDEX, e-Market Ltd. Etc.
