About the Department

·       This is the most recent department in the Institute , part of Science and Humanities Department. The department came into existence since 20 June 2022. It’s a support department which will cater to all first year Engineering students.

Vision: we at Chemistry department, will focus on imparting quality education in Chemical Science, Environmental Science, Materials science which are significant for a competent Engineer.

Mission: On the way of excellence pursuing research in applied Chemistry while serving to the academic needs of undergraduate students.

Short term goals: In next 3 years: Make the Chemistry department equipped with better infrastructure and laboratory equipment so as to offer students, a better learning environment.

In next 3 years: Improve research facilities through sponsored research projects and finally start vocational courses in the area of Analytical instrumentation.

Long term goals of the department: To start Chemical Engineering course.
