Message from Head :

An affectionate warm welcome to the Civil Engineering Department. Civil Engineering discipline is the oldest and is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of physically built works such as Roads, Bridges, Canals, Dams and Buildings.

There are many career paths for Civil Engineers. Civil Engineers are required in government agencies, private and public sector undertakings to take up mega projects like metro railway projects, flyovers, Express highways,  townships, Skyscrapers etc. The Civil Engineers are important to the society as they are often referred as “Builders of Nation”.

The Civil Engineering department was established in 2018. The Civil Engineering Department with its multifaceted faculty maintains its strong links with the construction industries- Government and Private sectors by sending students for internships to gain practical knowledge. The students of the department are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities which are essential for personality development.

The department is committed to provide students with a strong, broad based fundamental engineering education and prepare the students for a career in the industry and as an entrepreneur.

We also plan to develop entrepreneurial skills in students through summer internships so that they would drive the spirit of growth of our economy and would be able to generate employment opportunities for other qualified and skilled people.

 I personally look forward to integrate my experience of Industry at International level in Middle East and North America of over 12 years and 22 years of teaching in the learning systems and the collective efforts of qualified faculties of our department and build a systematic methodology for the benefits of our students.

 I look forward for motivating and preparing our students to face the global challenges in Civil Engineering industry that will help for the betterment of the society and nation.
